This campsite can be found about halfway between Townsville and Ingham and is a great place to stop and rest or stay for a couple of days. The park is equipped with shade shelters, toilets, outdoor showers and BBQs. It also sits next to a freshwater creek that is perfect for swimming on a warm summer’s day.

What’s Nearby?

If the creek won’t do, the popular Balgal Beach is just a short seven-minute drive away. There you can play in the waves of the patrolled shoreline or try your hand at some surf fishing.

History buffs can take a peek into the nearby Rollingstone Railway Station, filled with local historical items. With a service station and food store nearby, it’s easy to fuel or stock up for the next leg of your journey.
