Contribution Guidelines
We’re a community here at OneAdventure. We love to hear and share all of your outdoor adventures! If you have a story or even just some pictures you’d like to contribute just send them through to us on Facebook and we’ll take care of the rest!
For each submission that we publish we give the author a $50 BCF voucher, so make sure you send them in!
If you’re not sure where to start, we’ve put together some handy guidelines for you to follow, or for more information you can contact us and one of our team will be in touch.
OneAdventure is seeking contributions from users with a passion for the outdoors. We look for stories at a minimum of 350 words, supplied with images based on the topics of outdoor adventuring such as: caravanning, camping, boating, fishing and 4WDing or offroading.
Submissions are accepted in the format of reviews, experiences, guides, tips, tricks, comparisons, checklists, recommendations etc.
OneAdventure accepts submissions written in English only.
Please revise the current OneAdventure content to avoid submitting a revision of previously published work.
Yes! For successful submissions chosen for publication, you will receive $50 BCF voucher as payment for your story. Once successful, you will be contacted within 14 days to arrange payment.
No. OneAdventure only accepts unique and unpublished material. Stories previously published online or in print will not be accepted.
No. OneAdventure reserves the right to edit your submitted content for spelling, grammar, length and clarity. We endeavour to respond to all submissions within 2 weeks to let you know if your submission has been successful.
No. Each submission comes through as an individual story, please only submit one version of each story.
We’ve simplified the way to submit stories with OneAdventure. Simply head to our Facebook page and send us your story in a message!
We do our very best to respond to successful submissions within 2 weeks of submission. If you don’t hear back from us within that time, please be patient! It is our goal to make sure that each submission is given due attention.
For story submissions:
By sending in your story, you agree to provide this content for use exclusively on the OneAdventure website and in our newsletter. As per our guidelines, successful submissions will receive a payment of $50 BCF voucher for publication. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we might use the information you provide. You acknowledge that the content you provide is your own and original and is not used on any other website. OneAdventure reserves the right to edit your content prior to publication.
For photo submissions:
By sending in your photos, you agree to OneAdventure using your image on our website, in our newsletter and through marketing channels including social media. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we might use the information you provide. You acknowledge that the images you provide are your own and original and are not used on any other website. OneAdventure reserves the right to edit your images for the purposes of publication and use in marketing materials.
