It’s an area that is known for its crystal clear waters that are perfect for snorkelling and swimming. Murrays Beach is located in Booderee National Park and is another great fishing area that has a boat ramp if you do want to spend a day out on the water.

Just remember that when you do decide to go fishing in Jervis Bay Marine Reserve some areas are protected. Areas such as Greenpatch in Booderee National Park in Jervis Bay have certain zone restrictions in place.

Activities such as spearfishing are prohibited, as is using invertebrates on rock platforms for bait. If you were planning on spending the day in Booderee National Park, be sure to bring along your own bait. Also, make sure that you know of any restrictions that apply to the zones.

Don’t forget that you will also need an NSW fishing license before you head out to Greenpatch for a day of line fishing.
